Warren Robertson is very strange man, not in the sense that one would expect to see him shopping for cheese at 3am in his underwear, but rather in the manner that he views the world. The everyday becomes beautifully strange and his delightfully twisted mind supplies bizarre answers to some of life’s once seemingly simple questions. He tackles crime, history, politics, and even the philosophies, words and idioms we take for granted with the kind of detached confusion available only to the slightly eccentric.
This is by no means a negative show, and Warren doesn't target people or situations. He always prefers to offer a positive, uplifting and hilarious alternative look at life and show us that things aren't as bad as we think.
Watching him perform is an exercise in the original and once you’ve seen him on stage you’ll know there is no one else in the country quite like him. It’s a clever, thoughtful and, most of all, hilarious routine that should not be missed from the comic who is currently one of the hottest new acts on both local and international stages.*
In 2011 he was nominated for a Comic's Choice Award, placing him amongst the very best comedians in the country as voted for by his peers.
Sharp, original and funny... One to watch - Alex Petty, Laughing Horse comedy, UK
I have mentioned many times how in order to be a top comedian you need to be intelligent. Warren may be the smartest of the lot. His material is razor sharp, and each line is beautifully constructed leaving the punchline literally to the last word. He also doesn't shy away from doing material that requires an education to understand and even the simple subjects are handled with a subtle, and brilliant twist. - www.letterdash.com/ComedyCritic
A delight. He never fails to make me giggle back stage - Dave Jones, MC Cavendish Arms, UK
